Occasionally a rifle comes along that’s something truly unique.  Air Arm’s RSN70 Limited Edition is one of these times.

Known worldwide for their commitment to producing some of the most accurate rifles the industry has ever seen, Air Arms created the RSN70 for the 70th birthday of their founder Robert “Bob” Sinclair Nicholls.  Inspired by Bob’s most beloved possession--his Umbrian Red 2008 Bentley Continental GTC, this rifle features a deep red coloration with inlaid cream leather accents.  Creating only 71 units, only 70 of these gorgeous rifles are available for sale in this limited run.

With a personality as big as its founder, this PCP rifle exudes a love of all things automotive.  Umbrian Red paint is buffed to a sheen across the adjustable Minelli Stock, inlaid with hand stitched Bentley grade leather handholds.  Its streamlined design is accented by a chrome plated adjustable match trigger, guard, and sidelever. Under the hood of this sporty rifle you’ll find an extended 216cc cylinder with a 190 BAR (2,756psi) fill pressure to get about 90 shots per fill.  Its floating match grade barrel features a built-in air-stripper for additional accuracy. Some added touches include cylinder cover that looks like a tire set, a manometer styled after a gas gauge, and a punch-out car grill pattern near the muzzle.

This one of a kind item is available through Pyramyd AIR, but supplies are extremely limited! We only purchased 10 units total--the last of the run--serial numbers 60-69.  Don’t let this one-of-a-kind rifle pass you by! It's certainly more affordable than a Bentley, and with only 70 guns available—the RSN70 is certain to become a collector’s item.

Things I liked:

Im rating this 5 stars all the way through. Not that its particularly value friendly, but this is an Limited Edition, so value is relative. LOL. I figue when you purchase something like this, you do so because of the uniqueness, couples with desire to own, and available resources. So the value is strictly subjective to the individual. Now, that being said, heres my impressions. This is an Amazing pellet rifle. Yes, it shouts sub 12ft/lbs, British Specks, but it is everything one could want in a target rifle. Yes, I plan on shooting it regularly, why would I not? LOL. This is based on the HFT 500, or vice versa, and let me tell you, accuracy is wonderful. I was using 8.44 jsb at 30 yards and all I had was a 1/4 inch hole in 20 shots. This is an HFT rifle, through and through, with the beautiful accoutrements of the lacquering and leather work, custom machining etc. I just wish that the US had european style HFT readily available, I would certainly use this rifle in it.

Things I would have changed:

The one thing i would change, the air gauge. I know it's cool, and the gas gauge theme is really great, but I like to see how much pressure. But that is me being practical for a second, LOL

What others should know:

This rifle is also very quiet. No issues there and no need for extra suppression. I would definitely say that I would recommend this to others, however, there are none to be had. So in that vein, I would also recommend the HFT 500 as there should be similar if not identical performance. I will say, much to some chagrin, I'm sure, that I do plan on shooting this regularly. It may hurt the collector value, but honestly, why by a Bentley Continental GTC, just to park in in the garage forever under a tarp and never drive it. That would just be criminal. LOL If your looking for sub 12 ft/lbs HFT type rifle, this is the one, or at least the HFT 500, LOL.

Things I liked:

This has to be one of the finest and rarest air rifles ever built. There were only 70 made and of those only ten in the US

Things I would have changed:

Despite the incredible finish it did have a small flaw that was barely visible to the eye but noticeable because the flaw was right under the thumb of a right handed shooter. Due to the fact that there simply are no more for sale at any price I elected to live with the flaw.

What others should know:

I have not shot this rifle yet but intend to. Due to the design it will have tone refilled pretty often. It is also a standard dove tail scope mount which to be like they are a little light weight.

Things I liked:

It really is a work of art. I did put about 50 shots thru it before putting it away. It's not a daily driver. Not that it couldn't handle being shot endlessly day after day. It's a collector piece. And for the price should be used more as a Sunday driver. And this rifle can drive pellet on pellet.

Things I would have changed:

The fake leather case and pamphlet holder is kind of cheap. It should be real leather for this kind of money. Really that is the only fault as far as I am concerned.

      No. The RSN70 is unregulated.

What is the country of manufacture?

    • Tyler Patner from USA answered:

      England

  • howard from USA asked:

I believe the original price when it came out was 2399.00 L in Europe. Around 3000 us $. At 3999.00 is there still room for this to go up in value Or is this just a buy it because you love it kinda thing. Historically what kind of appreciation do these type of things have. I know this is a difficult question I'm not looking for a gaurentee on a return price. Just a ruff idea.

    • Tyler Patner from USA answered:

No one could seriously tell you if the gun will retain value or increase in value. Air Arms has not made very many limited edition guns and I have seen very few go up for sale on the used market publicly so it's hard to get an idea of retained value.
