    The set was a whole lot smaller that I thought it would be, but it's got a lot packed in there. It's nice to have all these hooks and swivels, this kit should last me quite awhile. Pretty good quality stuff, if it does fail, at least I'll have lots of spares!!

    This was great. Naughty it for a trip to the Bahamas (San Salvador) and it worked great. It was small enough to fit in my luggage with no problems. Worked great as we fished and caught flounder, parrot fish, and some other of the local species. The whole system held up great and the roof, while strong, gave us a lot of action. The package of lies was a good addition but we added a number of additional items like leaders and sinkers. Very very pleased with the whole system.

    Went out for a bit with the family and this thing is pretty cool! I love how compact it is I can just throw it in the little back pack. It's a super light weight rod perfect for panfishing or even trout fishing in the small creeks here.

    Awesome beginners’ set! Comes nicely organized in a case with a great starter’s kit for fishing. We gave this to our son and he was so excited. The telescoping pole is fantastic too. He’s already caught a couple fish!

    Bought it for my nephew for his seventh birthday gift. Tacklebox has fun little rubber baits and overall build quality is more than fine with gentle use. Winder is made with plastic, so dont let the kids be too rough with it!

    Only draw back is its size. I also wish the foam padding inside the case was not glued in place. Was hoping to use it as a tackle as well as a case for the pole. Otherwise its a great little set.

    My husband was able to use it for about 30 mins before the rod snapped. We watched a lot of videos on how to care for and make telescopic rods last and regardless of how careful it just snapped. I really wish this would’ve worked out because it was beautiful and worked well at the beginning.

    Great concept but not great for everyday use. Easy to throw in a backpack and take for a hike. Rod doesn’t lock into place when extended so it will occasionally collapse or the eyes will get out of alignment.

    Really wonderful fishing set. The rod is very light, and so it is easy to cast, but really strong. So, don’t worry about once you caught a big fish. The 3000 spin reel is enough for me, and very smoothly. But now, maybe it is not very safe if you went to the popular fishing sites due to the coronavirus. But it is a wonderful choice to take this set package when you plan to have a hiking. Light and easy to carry.
